Please take time to visit http://www.rosss.com/ to discover the many delights coming up for sale including their Irish art sales & other services they have to offer.

Irish  furniture from the 18th to early 19th is a real passion of mine and would highly recommend the book written  by The Knight Of Glin And James Peill.

I have a particular interest in  furniture that can be attributed to and stamped by Gillows of Lancaster and  Wilsons of 68 Great Queen Street-London  & Robert Strahan of Dublin & am always researching and attempting to find  undescovered pieces.

I also am studying further the many items of I've restored made by makers such as Gillingtons,
Mack & Gibton, Robert Strahan, William Moore, Trotters of and frames made by Francis & John Booker.

I also have a great  interest  in  early 18th c walnut furniture and have had the pleasure to work on some fantastic rare items.

I have been based in my  current workshops In Belfast, Nothern Ireland since 1999.
During this time I have gathered up vast stores of period timber and along with period brassware which are essential when restoring fine  antique furniture
I have also built up a huge  library of research  material   to draw on if required  to ensure any work carried out is as authentic as possible to original design.

My clients include some of the finest antiques dealers both in the UK and Ireland,
visit http://www.iada.ie and www.lapada.co.uk  as well as important private collectors, Museums, Churches and Goverment buildings.

I am very proud to have recently restored important items for both the Irish Football Association and The Royal CoDown Golf Club.

I strongly believe in the importance of preserving origonality, but any restoration or more importantly    conservation will be skillfully and sypatheticaly done to the highest standards using only the finest hand  & traditional materials.

I have recently  enjoyed a visit to  Dumfries House Where it is described as having the most important collection of Chippendale furniture in the world.
